Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics
All ASM credential holders agree to the ASM Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. The principles below form their basis. The full documents will be published before the first credentials are issued.
- 01Fidelity to the MethodThe Method is delivered as defined, including the assessment and the sequence of its phases.
- 02Scope of practiceCredential holders work within the scope of their own professional license.
- 03Accurate representationResults are described accurately. No outcome is promised to an individual client.
- 04Privacy and discretionClient information is kept confidential and handled with care.
- 05Medical referralClients are referred to a physician when indicated, including when a concern began recently.
- 06Use of the nameThe ASM name and designations are used only as permitted by a valid credential.
